20 October 2007: Horses compete in the $20,000 Pleberstown Plate during the 70th running of the International Gold Cup Races on October 20, 2007 at the Great Meadow in The Plains, Va. The race was won by Capital Peak (14) ridden by Lucy Horner of England with Toughkenamon (5) ridden by Scott Dobson of England and Luvyoudad (12) with Frederico de Paola of Italy aboard finishing 2nd and 3rd.
